Watcher platform overview

01 / Overview

Localisation, but for everyone.

Disney's subtitle pipeline isn't only for production professionals. Reviewers, consultants, and external partners also need to validate AI-generated subtitles — ideally without learning a complex enterprise platform.

Watcher is the entry point for that audience. A familiar Material Design language, single-purpose forms, and a clear primary action keep the interaction approachable.

02 / Reflection

Designing for second-time users.

Most enterprise tools optimise for the power user. Watcher had to optimise for someone who'd opened it twice in their life and might not return for weeks. That meant fighting against complexity at every step.

Working alongside HAMM gave me a comparative perspective on dark vs. light tools, enterprise vs. consumer flows, and the consequential differences in density and rhythm.
